Job summary

Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is seeking a senior leader to own the end-to-end pricing, contracting, and deal development lifecycle in the United States. You will collaborate with account management, payer marketing, Legal, and Market Access Strategy to craft robust business cases and optimize contract terms across major PBMs and healthcare channels.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical pricing, analytics, or contracting.
• MBA/JD or Master’s in Economics is preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional deal teams and pricing approvals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal and deal development lifecycle.
• Partner with account management and payer marketing to build robust business cases.
• Oversee term sheets, contract language, and redlines with Legal and Market Access Strategy.
• Own Pricing Committee/deal approval process for high-impact accounts.
• Chair or co-lead deal teams to refine strategies and prepare for PC alignment.
• Drive pre-deal analytics including net price, margin impact, and risk analyses.
• Coordinate with finance, GTN, forecasting, and data teams for data accuracy.
• Lead post-deal analytics and dashboards to compare performance vs. forecast.
• Develop contract templates and ensure compliance with brand strategies.
