Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Senior Director, Market Access Contract Assessment & Development to lead end-to-end proposal and contracting for US payer channels, PBMs, GPOs, specialty pharmacies, and institutional customers.

You will oversee pre‑deal analytics, term sheet drafting, pricing strategies, and post‑deal performance analytics, with cross-functional leadership across Market Access, Finance, HEOR, Legal, and Commercial Analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA, JD, or Master’s in Economics) preferred.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical pricing, analytics, or contracting.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing corporate teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal and deal development lifecycle.
• Develop business cases for national and regional opportunities; include deal vs. no-deal scenarios.
• Oversee term sheets and contract language in collaboration with Legal and Market Access Strategy.
• Own Pricing Committee processes for high-impact accounts and timelines.
• Mentor a high-performing team and drive automation and data-driven insights.
