Job summary
Waters Corporation is seeking a Senior Director of Search & Evaluation to lead business development and partnerships across inorganic and collaboration opportunities that align with Waters’ strategic goals. You will synthesize scientific and commercial insights to guide portfolio decisions and drive long-term value.
In this role you will collaborate with Finance, Strategy & Transformation, R&D and Commercial teams, manage diligence and due diligence processes, and build external networks with
Qualifications
- MD/PhD, PharmD, or other advanced degree in life sciences preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in life sciences tools or related biotech/healthcare with S&E
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Proven track record of leading business development projects
Responsibilities
- Lead S&E efforts for BD opportunities across Waters, linking to the strategic plan and managing a robust portfolio
- Build and execute an efficient process to conduct initial assessment and due diligence with cross functional teams
- Build a robust external network including bankers, VC, incubators for identifying opportunities
- Collaborate with Finance M&A and internal stakeholders to assess risks and opportunities
- Lead or support the Diligence Team: plan diligence, interact with external parties, prepare deliverables
