Job summary

Vizient is seeking a seasoned data analytics leader to design, develop, and scale advanced healthcare analytics solutions across life sciences consulting, research, and data products. You will drive projects using large-scale claims and clinical datasets, building longitudinal analyses, segmentation, and scalable models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree in analytics/epidemiology/healthcare informatics is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience with large-scale healthcare data (claims, clinical, longitudinal).
• Strong SQL and Python with experience in Spark/Databricks or similar platforms.
• Experience building longitudinal analyses, cohort methods, risk adjustment, and statistical models.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into validated reusable datasets and models.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and execution of complex analytical solutions on large healthcare datasets.
• Develop longitudinal patient journey analyses and segmentation methodologies.
• Translate requirements into validated data assets and reusable analytical models.
• Transform and optimize large datasets using Databricks and related platforms.
• Design SQL, Python, and Spark workflows for large-scale processing.
• Establish data quality, lineage, documentation, and reproducibility standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical solutions and scalable assets.
