Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a senior analytics leader to design, develop, and scale advanced healthcare analytics solutions. You will work across life sciences consulting, research, and data products to leverage claims data, studies, and data platforms.

You will lead complex workflows in SQL, Python, and Spark, apply robust data governance, and deliver repeatable analytical assets across teams. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working with large-scale healthcare data.
• Advanced experience with SQL and Python, Spark, and Databricks.
• Experience developing longitudinal patient analyses and cohort methodologies.
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims structures and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of analytical solutions using large-scale datasets.
• Develop longitudinal patient journey analyses and segmentation methodologies.
• Translate requirements into validated, reusable datasets and models for products and clients.
• Lead transformation of healthcare datasets using Databricks for scalable analytics.
• Design and optimize SQL, Python, and Spark workflows for analytics and reporting.
• Establish data documentation, lineage, and quality standards.
• Transform consulting engagements into repeatable methodologies and automated deliveries.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources and improve processing.
• Provide guidance on healthcare data use, study populations, and interpretation of findings.
• Lead multiple workstreams from feasibility to delivery, communicating risks and dependencies.
