Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional to support risk assessment and due diligence for asset-based lending engagements in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and detailed financial analysis across multiple deal types.

You will interact with clients, lead teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are accurate. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Nine years of similar or related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong management skills, and ability to maintain project deadlines and focus.
• High attention to detail.
• Experience with MS Office products required (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Professional designation or license preferred – CPA, CFA, and/or CFE.
• Moderate travel required (25-50%).
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance and/or accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person.
• Assess risk of liquidation of assets in Asset Based Loan structures through testing of transactions and borrowing base calculations.
• Prepare industry and company reports and schedules for clients and other parties.
• Provide support and direction to maintain communication with clients and staff on engagements; update senior team on progress and issues.
• Support Lender Due Diligence practice areas across multiple engagements.
• Perform procedures on all ABL deal types including healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, SaaS, and construction.
• Lead teams in Collateral Reviews for Financial Institutions (Banks and Non-bank Lenders/Funds).
• Mentor and lead junior team members; support business development through networking.
