Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director of Leadership Development, a senior leader responsible for enterprise leadership and career development strategy. This role is preferred to be located in Falls Church, VA, with remote scheduling possible.

You will design, deliver, and govern leadership programs, partnering with HR and executives to embed career development, and lead a high‑performing team while managing budgets and external partnerships to scale impact across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with extensive leadership development experience.
• Experience designing, implementing, and measuring leadership development and/or career development programs in a complex organization.
• Strong data-driven decision making, executive communication, and ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated leadership development strategy and design deployment of enterprise programs.
• Own enterprise career development approach and embed resources into talent processes.
• Establish mentorship and coaching strategies and measure their impact.
• Define early career experiences and collaborate with Talent Acquisition to optimize outcomes.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to align programs with strategy, culture, and needs.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and external partnerships for effectiveness.
