Job summary

Hearst is seeking a Director of Project Management and Strategic Planning to oversee interior renovations nationwide and manage FF&E procurement for the New York HQ. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Strategic Interior Planning, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Corporate Interiors or Project Management.
• Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and installations.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and oversight of interior office renovation projects nationwide.
• Develop standards for project management including guidelines and forms.
• Review and update Hearst Design & Construction guidelines.
• Evaluate and implement construction project management systems.
• Identify and hire local project management services for non-NYC projects.
• Manage selection, bidding, and negotiation for service contracts.
• Oversee space allocation and strategic planning for HQ.
• Manage furniture procurement and FF&E nationwide.
• Coordinate office moves/adds/changes with HR, Facilities, Technology, and vendors.
