Job summary

UI Health in Chicago, IL seeks a Senior Infection Prevention and Control leader to oversee enterprise-wide infection prevention, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer. Lead the Infection Prevention & Control team, coordinate with Medical Director, and ensure regulatory compliance with IDPH, DOH, OSHA, CDC, NHSN; develop organization-wide policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
• Minimum of five years in Infection Control.

• Direct programs and projects with Medical Director for Infection Control.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, finances, facilities, and staffing.
• Advise Chief Nursing Officer on programs, management, and policy.
