Job summary

LogicSource, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Category Management- Distribution & Logistics in Nashville, TN. The role leads strategic sourcing across distribution and logistics, including 3PL, TL, LTL, ocean, air, and warehousing, reporting to the Managing Director, Sourcing and Procurement.

The candidate will drive savings, manage client spend data, and lead supplier negotiations, with a focus on TCO and process improvements across multiple categories and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience in indirect procurement, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
• Experience managing category spend over $200MM annually.
• Must possess strong MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost savings and strategic sourcing projects while ensuring business continuity and high level of supplier performance.
• Manage spend, supplier, and market data to analyze savings opportunities and value chain impacts.
• Lead RFI/RFP activities, readouts, and business cases; engage vendors and support awards.
• Drive productivity improvements and optimize total cost of ownership for spend categories.
• Lead development of procurement policies to drive savings and organizational change.
