Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or healthcare degree required.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech Medical Affairs or scientific communications experience.
• 5+ years supporting scientific communications or Medical Affairs initiatives.
• Experience with clinical-stage or commercial-stage products in biotech/pharma.
• Immunology, allergy, inflammation, dermatology or related areas required.
• Experience with congresses, medical education and field medical content preferred.
• Experience working with medical communications agencies and external vendors preferred.
• Strong writing, communication and compliance knowledge (PhRMA/FDA).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of scientific communications strategies aligned with Medical Affairs objectives.
• Serve as scientific content lead across immunology portfolio initiatives.
• Develop, review and oversee scientific materials including congress content, slide decks, FAQs, and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliant messaging.
• Align publications and medical communications with broader development goals.
• Provide scientific review and editorial oversight of medical and commercial content.
• Support congress planning, content development and deliverables for Medical Affairs.
• Develop scientific platforms and narratives for Celldex products and programs.
• Monitor emerging data and industry trends to inform strategy.
• Ensure adherence to PhRMA, FDA and internal SOPs; manage vendors and budgets.
