Job summary

Celldex seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Science to shape clinical development strategy and oversee study design across a multi-program portfolio. You will partner with Clinical Science leadership and cross-functional teams to drive registration-enabling studies and lifecycle milestones.

You will translate complex clinical datasets into actionable development plans, guide regulatory submissions, and influence portfolio decisions with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in clinical research/clinical science in biotech/pharma.
• Experience leading Phase 1–3 programs and development milestones.
• Proven ability to influence regulatory submissions and strategy.
• Strong leadership of Directors and Senior Scientists.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable development plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for one or more clinical development programs aligned with portfolio strategy.
• Drive integrated development strategies across studies, indications, and lifecycle management.
• Lead governance and senior leadership discussions on program decisions and regulatory strategy.
• Oversee study design, endpoint development, biomarker approaches, and patient selection.
• Collaborate with Clinical Science, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and Executives to optimize development pathways.
• Review and approve critical study documents and development milestones.
