Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech publications.
• 5+ years supporting publication planning in biotech/pharma.
• Global publication planning experience for clinical and commercial products.
• Experience with scientific congresses and publication activities.
• Experience with publication management systems and external vendors.
• Strong expertise in scientific publications and medical writing.
• Ability to communicate complex data to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of ICMJE, AMA, GPP, FDA guidelines and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of strategic publication plans tied to Medical Affairs and development objectives.
• Drive manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress-related content.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure scientific accuracy and messaging alignment.
• Engage external authors, investigators, and science agencies for new publication concepts.
• Coordinate with Director of Scientific Communications for alignment of strategy and events.
• Manage timelines, vendors, and budgets for publication projects.
• Provide scientific review and editorial oversight for content quality and compliance.
• Lead publication planning meetings and cross-functional reviews.
• Support congress planning and related medical communications deliverables.
• Contribute to scientific platform development and core narratives for Celldex products.
• Monitor emerging data and industry trends in immunology and related areas.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal SOPs.
• Drive process improvements in publication workflows and systems.
• May manage external publication vendors and agencies.
