Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Director Network Development to lead engineering teams overseeing the global physical network for OCI, ensuring hyperscale reliability, security, and performance for cloud workloads.

The role demands deep hyperscale networking expertise, strong operational judgment, and the ability to lead globally distributed teams across design, validation, automation, and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern multi-year architecture and design standards across cloud, data center, WAN, and edge with resilience, security, and compliance.
• Sponsor transformational programs (SDN/intent-based networking, zero-trust segmentation) and enforce design reviews, baselines, and lifecycle policies across regions.
• Establish enterprise validation strategy for new architectures, hardware/firmware, and software at scale with pre-production proofs and pilot rollouts.
• Align network roadmap with product and platform strategies, balancing innovation with reliability, cost, and regulatory constraints.
