Job summary

Oracle is seeking a strategic leader to drive hyperscale infrastructure across a single line of business. You will shape a 3–5 year plan to architect and operate fault-tolerant, scalable cloud systems, while aligning standards for availability, performance, security and cost efficiency.

• Define infrastructure strategy and operating models aligned to business objectives.
• Approve multi-region deployment roadmaps and modernization plans.
• Establish standards for fault tolerance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Drive automation-first operations and policy-as-code adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define org infra strategy; align investments to LOB objectives, SLOs, and cost targets.
• Set enterprise architecture standards for reliability and efficiency; audit compliance.
• Govern resilience: error budgets, chaos testing, canary/blue-green rollouts, rapid rollback.
• Lead IaC/CI/CD for infra/services and policy-as-code; reduce toil.
• Direct observability: define SLO/SLI; drive telemetry for reliability and capacity headroom.
• Chair design/release governance for high-impact infra changes; make binding decisions.
• Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory obligations are embedded with audit evidence.
• Set KPIs/OKRs and executive dashboards; monitor availability, MTTR, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with Product/Platform Eng, SRE, Networking, Security, Data, Capacity planning.
• Optimize vendor/tooling and cloud spend; manage supply/resiliency risks and lifecycle refresh.
