Job summary

Vallum Associates is seeking a Senior Director of Cooling & Chiller Systems in Dallas to lead engineering, product development and commercial strategy for advanced cooling technologies.

You will bring deep expertise in centrifugal chiller design, build high-performing teams, and drive product development and business growth across data centre cooling and mission-critical infrastructure, with relocation assistance and a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in centrifugal chiller design, engineering or product development within an OEM or manufacturing environment.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with significant senior leadership responsibility.
• Strong understanding of industrial cooling, thermodynamics and large-capacity chiller systems.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and complex product development programmes.
• Experience with product strategy, commercialization and customer-facing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and product development across centrifugal chillers, modular chiller plants and integrated cooling systems.
• Define product strategy, technical roadmaps and commercial development priorities.
• Oversee product design, validation, certification and market introduction.
• Drive system integration across mechanical, electrical, thermal and controls technologies.
• Ensure compliance with North American regulatory and certification requirements.
