Job summary

Lilly is building a Next-Generation Parenteral and Device Assembly/Packaging Facility in Lehigh Valley. The Senior Director-HSE will lead HSE strategy, systems, and staffing to support construction, start-up, and ongoing manufacturing operations at the site.

The role requires deep HSE expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across Lilly's network to drive an injury-free workplace and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a scientific, engineering, or HSE discipline.
• Significant HSE experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with CAPA systems for HSE changes, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Health, Safety and Environmental at the Lehigh Valley site.
• Establish and sustain site HSE strategy, systems, and capability.
• Lead regulatory and corporate compliance, HSE programs, and risk reduction.
• Develop and implement the site HSE management system and roadmaps.
• Maintain relationships with HSE regulators and support audits/inspections.
• Guide transition from construction to startup and routine operations.
