Job summary

The Salvation Army of the Twin Cities is seeking a Senior Program Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for HOPE Harbor and Harvest Hills programs, ensuring compliance, effectiveness and alignment with the mission. This role oversees operations, staff, and program development while maintaining fiscal integrity and community representation.

Responsibilities include rotating on-call duties, coordinating budgeting with divisional HQ social services and finance, and developing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work preferred or related field with experience; licensure may be required.
• Five+ years in human services with 3+ years in supervisory/administrative roles.
• If Social Work degree, state licensure (LGSW/LISW) preferred.
• Must pass background checks and have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for HOPE Harbor and Harvest Hills.
• Oversee program operations, staff, and development; ensure fiscal accountability.
• Represent programs in the community and manage external reporting.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule; ensure high-quality services.
• Coordinate budgeting with Divisional HQ Social Services and Finance teams.
• Support recruitment and staff development; supervise case management team.
• Oversee referral coordination and resource navigation.
