BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead asset-specific payer evidence strategies, shaping patient-relevant outcomes requirements and aligning with regulatory, HTA and access needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Value & Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs, engaging with HTA agencies, payers and patient organizations to strengthen market access and value

Qualifications

12+ years in Pharma with HEOR focus
7+ years HEOR roles in pharma companies or consulting
5+ years direct experience with PRO measures
Experience supporting HTA submissions, value dossiers, and patient-relevant briefing books

Responsibilities

Lead payer evidence strategies aligned with brand and Value & Access priorities for early-stage assets.
Collaborate with Value & Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development & Regulatory Affairs & Patient Advocacy organizations.
Drive understanding of payer and HTA requirements related to patient-relevant outcomes and health utility measurement.
Lead development of cross-functionally aligned, asset-specific patient-relevant outcomes strategies.
Lead patient-relevant endpoint planning and oversight of implementation within clinical trials.
Lead JCA strategy development and assess access implications across markets.
Manage external partners in PRO development, health state valuation, and patient preference research.
