Job summary

Hope Hospice in Pleasanton, CA seeks a Senior Director of Business Development to own census-growth strategies, drive referral networks, and strengthen market presence through leadership and data‑driven decisions.

This field-based role partners with clinical, admissions, and operations teams to ensure seamless intake and service delivery, while building relationships with hospitals, physicians, SNFs, ALFs, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MHA preferred.
• 5+ years in healthcare business development, hospice/home health, or post-acute care.
• 2+ years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth strategies to achieve census and revenue targets.
• Develop referral networks with hospitals, physicians, SNFs, and partners.
• Coach and mentor the provider and community relations team.
• Collaborate with clinical, admissions, and operations for seamless intake.
• Track census growth, referrals, and market share with analytics.
