Job summary

JSI is seeking a Senior Director, Regulatory and Grants Compliance in Austin, TX to lead the grants and post-award compliance practice. You will own the methodology, drive revenue growth, and serve as the senior authority on post-award compliance across BEAD, ARPA, and related programs.

You will manage a team including a Senior Manager, partner with VP- Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, and integrate recently combined organizations while maintaining delivery quality and client success.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of people management experience.
• 12+ years of professional experience in grants compliance or related field.
• Direct experience with post-award grant compliance (2 CFR 200).
• Direct experience with BEAD program post-award compliance and reporting.
• Experience with telecommunications regulatory compliance for providers (FCC filings, USAC, state PUC/PSC).
• Track record of closing professional services engagements and owning revenue/pipeline targets.
• Ability to operate at senior leadership level with VP/C-suite.
• Experience balancing client delivery with leadership and BD responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the grants and post-award compliance practice, refining methodology and standards for BEAD/ARPA awards.
• Lead a team including a Senior Manager and individual contributors; oversee hiring and performance management.
• Own revenue and pipeline target; drive business development with Sales and other colleagues.
• Represent JSI’s grants capabilities in client meetings, forums, and proposals; develop bundled service offerings.
• Lead integration of recently combined organizations across multiple locations; manage complex initiatives.
• Deliver client work personally, including audits, inquiries, and senior advisory.
