BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Government Pricing to lead pricing compliance with U.S. government programs and shape pricing strategy across the organization.

The role reports to the Government Pricing Director and requires deep expertise in AMP, ASP, Best Price, PHS, and FSS/VA. The successful candidate will partner with Finance, Commercial, and Legal teams to ensure accurate reporting, drive efficiency, and manage complex regulatory changes in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• 10+ years of pricing, finance, contracting, or a related analytical function in pharma/biotech.
• Minimum 5 years of direct government pricing experience.
• Deep expertise in AMP, ASP, Best Price, PHS, and FSS/VA.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with third‑party vendors and rebate systems.
• Knowledge of state Medicaid operations is a plus.
• Ability to present complex analyses to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities related to government pricing calculations, submissions, and compliance (AMP, ASP, Best Price, PHS, VA).
• Oversee government contracting processes and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Provide strategic guidance on pricing implications of contracts.
• Manage vendor relationships for Medicaid, TRICARE, and Medicare rebates.
• Support SOX and audit activities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate business impact.
• Advise on gross‑to‑net assumptions and pricing impacts.
• Identify process improvements, systems enhancements, and automation opportunities.
