Job summary

Lilly is building an advanced manufacturing facility in Goochland County, Virginia, and seeks a Senior Director, Supply Chain to lead site-wide planning, procurement, logistics and master data. The role translates forecasts into production plans, optimizes inventory, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops team capabilities.

As a member of the site lead team, you will collaborate across functions to align warehousing with startup goals and GMP operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in supply chain, engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years’ experience supporting manufacturing operations in a supply chain capacity, pharma industry preferred.
• 5+ years of leadership experience building and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide planning to ensure product availability and on-time shipments.
• Oversee procurement, warehousing, and logistics in a GMP manufacturing context.
• Translate forecasts into production plans and optimize inventory and safety stock.
• Define and track KPIs to measure planning effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain and procurement to address issues and align processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to support startup, handoff, and long-term goals.
