Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company is starting up a new manufacturing site in Goochland County, Virginia, focusing on monoclonal antibodies and aseptic drug product manufacturing. The role supports site readiness by coordinating procurement activities and establishing vendor relationships, then steers ongoing procurement once operational.

The successful candidate will manage master supply agreements, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with Lilly policies while driving cost savings and supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, or similar field.
• Five or more years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or procurement.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute sourcing and purchasing for site construction and later operations.
• Develop understanding of site priorities and align procurement with operational goals.
• Build relationships with Global Procurement and other Lilly sites.
• Establish relationships with local suppliers and integrate global suppliers.
• Lead supplier relations management for strategic third-party suppliers and drive improvements.
