Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Director, Program Management Team Leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Program Management group, driving resource allocation and development to support portfolio execution. Location options include Beerse, Belgium; Spring House, PA; and Raritan, NJ.

The role partners with DU/TA leaders to drive development strategy, optimize portfolio value, and elevate staff capabilities in a global matrix environment.

Qualifications

• A BS degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• An advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, MD, PhD) is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years with progressive leadership experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of 8-10 years of people management experience is required.
• Expert knowledge of drug development process over the product life cycle, from discovery to marketing is required.
• Expert knowledge of project management and portfolio management is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic operational leadership over the PML group and DAS Delivery Team of the Deliverly Unit and the portfolio managed by the PML group.
• Increased DAS specific responsibilities including co-leadership with DAS DU Leader at DAS Extended Leadership Team.
• Strategy and execution support and planning regarding finance, milestone, and CDP alignment to optimize portfolio value.
• Support governance and escalate issues to senior management to unblock work for teams.
• Drive excellence, efficiency and consistency across the project management teams and enable optimal delivery of the DAS strategy.
• Lead the PML organization, manage budget and resource allocation, and ensure staff development.
• Be the external face of program management for JNJ IM by participating in congresses and presenting innovations.
