Job summary

Cogent Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Global Market Access to develop and execute market access strategies enabling patients to access innovative therapies. This global role includes US market responsibilities and close collaboration with HEOR capabilities to support payer decision-making.

The ideal candidate has oncology market access experience, strong payer/reimbursement understanding, and a hands-on approach to drive execution with lean resources and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred (MBA/MPH/PharmD/MS).
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech market access, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or related field.
• Experience developing market access strategies in US and international markets.
• Experience in oncology, specialty pharmaceuticals, or complex therapeutics.
• Experience supporting products through development and/or commercialization, including a launch.
• Experience translating clinical evidence into payer/HTA strategies.
• Understanding of global pricing, reimbursement, and HTA environments.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global market access strategies for oncology products across lifecycles.
• Identify market access opportunities, risks, and barriers in US and key international markets.
• Develop market access strategies informed by payer dynamics, HTA requirements, and clinical practice.
• Integrate market access, pricing, HEOR into broader development and commercialization plans.
• Monitor changes in oncology reimbursement environments and adapt portfolio strategy.
• Lead integration of HEOR into overall value strategy for oncology assets.
