Illumina seeks a Director of Global Market Access Strategy – Oncology to lead worldwide strategies ensuring patient access to oncology testing solutions. You will shape reimbursement, evidence generation, and value narratives across regions.

The role requires deep oncology diagnostics expertise, payer engagement, and collaboration with Government Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to drive adoption of genomic solutions globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in clinical settings, market access, reimbursement, or health economics with oncology focus.
• Proven success building global market access strategies in diagnostics or payer environments.
• Experience with international reimbursement systems and HTA across major markets.
• Experience with NGS, liquid biopsy, or companion diagnostics in oncology.

Responsibilities

• Lead global market access strategies for oncology diagnostics including CGP and companion tests.
• Collaborate with regional teams to secure reimbursement and access in key markets.
• Define and communicate clinical and economic value to payers and HTA bodies.
• Develop value dossiers, payer toolkits, and engagement materials for local execution.
• Oversee pricing and product coding with product management and other teams.
