Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director of Global Digital & Technology Systems Engineering to lead strategic and technical directions for biopharma platforms, AI architecture, and infrastructure. Role: Senior Director of Global Digital & Technology Systems Engineering at a biopharma focused on cancer therapies, with a strategic and technical leadership scope in systems engineering, AI architecture, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities: serve as the primary liaison to Enterprise IT, oversee platform and systems engineering—including HPC clusters, containerized environments, and data pipelines—design advanced AI systems such as RAG architectures and multi-modal pipelines, and drive digital transformation initiatives like cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team, ensuring compliance with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and security standards, while collaborating with R&D and external vendors to align systems with business objectives.
Requirements: 12+ years in data, digital, or IT within pharma/biotech/medical devices; 7+ years in senior leadership managing multi-skilled teams; strong expertise in ML/AI/genAI systems, cloud architectures, and GxP compliance.
Preferred: deep domain knowledge in biotech/pharma systems, experience with sophisticated AI frameworks, and familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations.
High-Value: focus on AI/ML infrastructure, scalable system architecture, GxP compliance, and cross-functional R&D collaboration in cancer therapeutics.
