Job summary

Babel Street is seeking a Senior Director of Generative & Agentic AI to lead AI strategy across the platform. You will collaborate closely with leadership and oversee teams in building multi-modal AI systems.

This hybrid position allows you to work from Somerville, MA or Reston, VA. You'll be responsible for executing AI strategy to support critical intelligence applications while ensuring capabilities are reliable, safe, and effective.

Minimum qualifications include over 10 years in AI/ML and a strong academic background in a related technical field.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML and advanced data systems.
• Experience leading technical teams delivering production GenAI capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale AI capabilities across the Babel Street platform.
• Lead teams building multi-modal LLM and SLM pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to integrate AI capabilities.
