Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Head of Product to lead and develop a high-performing full-stack product team, providing strategic context, coaching, and support, while championing customer understanding through research, field visits, data inspection, and critical customer conversations.

You will drive prioritization, establish product operations rituals, and support go-to-market by clarifying capabilities for product marketing, driving customer adoption and commercialization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in PM roles with at least 5 years in leadership of teams
• Experience building and leading teams of product managers and managers
• Platform-level and/or full-stack product launch experience
• Experience in environments with tightly coupled software and hardware development
• Customer fluency in complex operational domains (utilities, industrial operations, real-world infrastructure)
• Proven structured prioritization and decision-making under uncertainty
• Ability to manage a multi-year product arc with a quarterly roadmap
• Operational rigor and experience improving a product operating model
• Evidence-based approach to product process and program management
• Strong cross-functional executive leadership and communication
• Ability to write concise strategy documents and product updates

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a full-stack product team across software and hardware
• Drive customer understanding through research, field visits, data inspection and customer conversations
• Prioritize using frameworks considering customer impact, feasibility, revenue, regulatory needs and strategic fit
• Establish rituals and artifacts to institutionalize product thinking
• Support GTM by clarifying capabilities for product marketing and customer adoption
• Integrate NPI/NTI from R&D into durable products and support definition, validation and GTM
• Partner with cross-functional leaders and the C-Team to steer product direction
• Report to the COO/CPO and lead ~10 staff across software, hardware, product marketing and design
