Dr. Squatch seeks an Associate Director of Fragrance Development to lead multi-year fragrance strategy across all categories and manage fragrance house relationships.

You will build and lead a small team, set technical standards, and ensure on-time, on-budget development while balancing creative ambition and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• 7+ years in fragrance and/or product development, preferably in CPG/personal care.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership.
• Deep technical fluency in fragrance and cost drivers.
• Strong commercial judgment balancing creative ambition with margin and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year fragrance strategy and scent architecture for the Dr. Squatch portfolio.
• Lead fragrance workstream for new brand and category launches from concept through development and commercialization.
• Build and maintain the fragrance roadmap and pipeline with Portfolio Strategy.
• Represent fragrance strategy to executive leadership and governance forums.
• Monitor fragrance trends and translate into actionable portfolio opportunities.
• Write briefs; manage submissions; drive fragrance changes through to approval.
• Partner with Procurement and Finance on cost negotiation and dual-sourcing.
• Escalate and resolve supplier quality, stability, and delivery issues before launches.
• Partner with Product Development, Consumer Insights, Marketing, and Creative.
