Dr. Squatch is seeking an Associate Director of Fragrance Development to own the fragrance strategy across soap, body care, hair, deodorant, and future brands. You will lead relationships with fragrance houses, set cost targets, and drive development calendars while building a high-performing team.

The role is full-time and hybrid, located in Marina Del Rey, CA, reporting to the SVP, Product, with base compensation of $165k–$175k depending on experience and market conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in fragrance/product development, with consumer packaged goods experience.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership in fragrance.
• Deep technical fluency in fragrance materials and performance, cost drivers, and regulatory considerations.
• Proven track record owning fragrance house relationships and managing programs end-to-end.
• Strong commercial judgment balancing creativity, margin, and risk.

• Define multi-year fragrance strategy and architecture for the portfolio.
• Lead fragrance workstreams for new brand launches from concept to commercialization.
• Build and maintain fragrance roadmap and development calendar with cross-functional partners.
• Represent fragrance strategy to executive leadership and governance forums.
• Hire, coach, and develop a team of fragrance developers and establish scalable processes.
