Job summary

The Juilliard School seeks a Senior Director of Institutional Relations and Donor Relations to oversee all aspects of fundraising from foundations, corporations and government agencies. The role supports scholarship, events, special projects, and operations, with a focus on leadership donor stewardship for the tuition-free endowment campaign.

Qualifications

• Proven success securing and managing major gifts, foundation grants, corporate sponsorships, and/or government funding.
• Strong strategic fundraising and portfolio management skills, including prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing proposals, donor communications, and presentations.
• Experience building relationships with institutional funders, high-net-worth donors, boards and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising from foundations, corporations and government agencies to support academic and performance programs.
• Collaborate with Major and Principal Gifts teams on stewardship for leadership donors, and develop strategy for tuition-free endowment campaign.
