Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Five years of experience working with children in the child welfare system.
• Experience with a child placing agency is highly desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic communication; ability to learn database systems.
• Must become a certified Together Facing the Challenge trainer within 1 year of hire.
• Must pass standard background checks including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.
• Faith practices aligned with United Methodist Church.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all areas related to foster care programs.
• Supervise the foster care program and local program directors.
• Facilitate and coordinate best practices for safety, security and quality care.
• Coordinate and oversee foster care programs according to standards and regulations.
• Attend foster parent events.
• Oversee licensure as a child placing agency.
• Assist CFO/COO with budget development and adherence.
• Interview, hire, and train employee applicants.
