Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Five+ years of experience working with children in the child welfare system.
• Experience with a child placing agency is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the foster care program to ensure safety, quality care and compliance.
• Provide supervision to the local program directors of the Foster Care program.
• Facilitate and coordinate best practices across the program to maintain safety and quality care.
• Oversee program licensure as a child placing agency and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Assist CFO/COO with budgeting input and long-range planning for the program.
• Interview, hire and train staff; build team capacity and staff development.
• Represent Epworth in the community and build relationships with social services and resources.
• Oversee implementation of evidence-based practices and staff credentialing.
