Idaho National Laboratory seeks a Deputy Controller and Director of Financial Operations to lead the Business Management team in Idaho Falls. This role oversees policy and assurance, A/P, A/R, inventory, and cost accounting, ensuring robust internal controls and DOE compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and at least 10 years of finance experience with 2 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, CAS, FAR, and DOE financial policies.
• Experience managing financial operations within federally funded environments.

Responsabilités

• Oversee financial operations including policy and assurance, A/P, A/R, inventory, and cost accounting.
• Maintain robust internal controls and compliance across Financial Operations.
• Monitor KPIs and financial risks in line with DOE oversight requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Controller to ensure fraud risk management and financial integrity.
• Engage with DOE stakeholders and external partners to share best practices.
• Mentor and develop finance staff, driving high-performance outcomes.
