Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Finance, Strategy & Business Development to lead finance across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions.

You will influence deal economics, assess risks, and align enterprise finance expertise throughout the deal lifecycle. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure disciplined financial insight, with a track record of value creation and executive presence in high-stakes negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA, CFA certification highly desirable.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, corporate development, M&A, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial diligence for acquisitions, divestitures and other strategic transactions.
• Evaluate deal models, valuation outputs, accretion/dilution analysis, working capital and tax implications.
• Partner with legal, business development, and finance stakeholders to shape transaction structure and review key terms.
• Provide finance leadership for integration planning, governance, and value creation post-transaction.
