Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to lead planning and forecasting for the Industrial segment, coordinating timelines, inputs, and leadership reviews for disciplined execution and high-quality financial insights.

The role partners with business units, drives process improvements, and advances Power BI dashboards and AI-enabled efficiencies while managing a finance team to deliver executive-ready reporting.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in finance roles with an emphasis in FP&A.
• Experience leading planning, budgeting, forecasting, or other financial reporting cycles with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, tools, and executive-level deliverables.
• Advanced skills using Power BI, or other data visualization and automation tools, with a strong interest in challenging the organization to use AI to drive efficiencies in key processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FP&A planning and forecasting cadence including budgeting, forecasting, and calendar management.
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies; participate in audits and implement controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and drive efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional FP&A initiatives from planning through execution with defined scope and milestones.
• Drive adoption of modern FP&A tools, reporting automation, Power BI dashboards, and AI-enabled efficiencies.
• Manage finance professionals, set goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
