Job summary

Ethos Life seeks a Senior Director, GTM to own financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for the GTM business. You will partner with Marketing, Product, and Sales to model profitability, user acquisition, and new business opportunities, interfacing with CorpDev/BizDev as needed.

You will analyze GTM unit economics, contribute to strategic decisions, and drive growth with data-driven insights across functions in a fast-growing consumer fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or BizOps with a material data/financial focus at a DTC or Fintech company.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, strategic finance, or consulting with PE/CDD experience.
• Prior Corp Dev / Biz Dev experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• SQL knowledge preferred.
• Deep expertise in GTM unit economics and growth efficiency metrics, including acquisition funnels, cohort analysis and CLV.
• Stellar academic record with a degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.).
• Motivated self-starter with ability to juggle multiple projects and hit deadlines; ownership from Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning and forecasting for the GTM business.
• Drive efforts to serve new customer segments, launch new insurance products or partnerships.
• Apply business judgment and financial insights to unit economics, acquisition, operations, and growth opportunities.
• Improve speed and efficiency of growth by collaborating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
• Develop and monitor critical financial metrics and communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Ethos is looking for an ambitious self-starter to join our Finance & Strategy team
• The Senior Director, GTM will own financial strategy and performance management for our GTM business
• You will serve as a financial thought partner to leaders across Marketing, Product, and Sales, with a specific focus on GTM modeling, user acquisition, profitability, and new business evaluation
• You will also be responsible for interfacing with external partners through either a Corp Dev or BizDev lens in support of these objectives
• This role is ideal for a data-driven finance leader with deep experience in consumer unit economics, scaling GTM businesses, and who is willing to dive deep into the data and operations of the business
• This role will have high visibility across the executive team and will require you to solve the most complex, interesting challenges of a rapidly-scaling startup
