Job summary

Nasdaq seeks a senior leader for the Expert Functions Audit team, overseeing Finance & Workplace, Legal, Risk and Regulatory, People@Nasdaq (HR), and Strategy and Marketing. You will manage the Finance and Workplace sub-portfolio including Treasury, Accounting, Tax and Workplace functions.

You will develop the audit plan, lead a high-performing team, and collaborate with senior business leaders to strengthen risk management, governance and internal controls across multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in internal audit or risk-focused discipline.
• CPA certification preferred; experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute audit plans for designated sub portfolios.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the Expert Functions audit team.
• Set priorities and remove barriers to execution across multiple audits.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to assess risk, governance and controls.
• Lead multiple concurrent audit projects and manage timelines.
• Define audit scopes, perform procedures and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Address root causes with stakeholders and develop action plans.
• Build strong relationships with key business and technology stakeholders.
