Position: Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff is a high-visibility, strategic partner supporting the General Manager North America and the senior leadership team by managing priorities, overseeing staff and internal operations, and leading key initiatives. This role involves supporting the GM with strategic planning, preparing for senior-level meetings, and developing organizational and communication frameworks to implement the commercial vision and drive organizational growth and success.

As a leadership team member, this role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to organizational needs, fostering continuous improvement in collaboration, communication, and maturity. The role includes anticipating issues, analyzing strategic and operational challenges, and ensuring the progress of key projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as an advisor and extension of the GM North America and the Core North America Leadership Team (CNALT).
  2. Support the GM with strategic initiatives and ensure effective meeting agendas that drive strategy and decision-making.
  3. Draft meeting minutes and track action items.
  4. Create presentations for various internal and external audiences, including Board Meetings and Town Halls.
  5. Coordinate communication between the GM and other executives and stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate on performance goals and operational plans.
  7. Identify opportunities for organizational alignment and issue resolution.
  8. Partner with various departments and external entities to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  9. Support the rollout of global commercial and medical initiatives.
  10. Drive organizational culture, engagement, and leadership events.
  11. Oversee leadership offsite events and organizational development initiatives.
  12. Lead continuous improvement in business operations and performance metrics.
  13. Partner with Finance on budgeting and financial planning.
  14. Support programs for colleague engagement, development, and retention.
  15. Manage the CNALT calendar and prioritize activities to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications:

Degree in science, business, engineering, or related field with at least 10 years’ experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or related industries. Extensive cross-functional experience in commercial operations, project management, and strategic initiatives is required. Experience in global commercial, business development, medical, or alliance management is a plus.

Additional Details:

Travel required: 30-50%.

Salary Range: $189,300 - $259,300 annually, with comprehensive benefits and equity opportunities.
