Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks a Director of Sterile Processing Services to lead enterprise-wide SPD operations across the system. This role directs strategic planning, financial oversight, quality and regulatory compliance, and staff leadership while serving as the liaison between SPD, clinical departments, and health system leadership.

The Director drives patient safety through reliable systems, enhances operational performance across SPD sites, and leads continuous process improvements to accommodate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration or health care required; Master's degree preferred.
• Seven years in managing a highly complex perioperative or Sterile Processing services enterprise.
• Experience leading large scale sterile processing or perioperative performance improvement projects.
• Strong communication and organizational/planning skills with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Licensure - Must maintain valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance to meet travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide leadership for all sterile processing operations across the Emory Healthcare system.
• Oversee strategic planning, financial oversight, quality and regulatory compliance, and staff leadership.
• Serve as liaison between SPD, clinical departments, and health system leadership; ensure patient safety through reliable systems.
• Drive operational performance across SPD locations and lead continuous process improvement to support growth in procedural volume.
