Job summary

Spectrum Control, Inc. is seeking a Director of Corporate Security to lead the company's security program across all cleared sites under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

This hands-on leader sets security strategy, owns NISP compliance as Corporate FSO, and serves as Insider Threat Program Senior Official. The role partners with IT/Cybersecurity and the ISSM on information system security, overseeing physical and personnel security, NBIS/NISS processing, and foreign travel while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; master's preferred.
• 10+ years in security management in aerospace/defense/government contracting; 7+ years as FSO.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; TS eligibility preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required with eligibility for DoD clearance and KMP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise security strategy aligned to growth and risk.
• Own FCL, sponsorship, and FOCI mitigation; report to DCSA.
• Oversee insider threat program and training.
• Establish physical security and access standards across sites.
• Lead security staff and standardize practices across sites.
• Engage with DCSA, customers, and agencies; manage reviews.
• Direct self-inspection and readiness assessments.
• Oversee investigations and incident response; coordinate with Legal/HR/Compliance.
• Coordinate CUI and ITAR/EAR safeguards with IT/Cyber.
• Provide security input on proposals, M&A, and supply-chain risk.
• Sponsor security education and role-based training.
