Amgen seeks a Senior Director, AI Solution Architecture to lead enterprise AI strategy, decompose complex AI initiatives, and deliver scalable, secure AI solutions across R&D, operations, and commercial domains. You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive ROI, governance, and production readiness while building a high-performing architecture team.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, technical credibility, and strong business value orientation in a regulated biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with AI, ML, data science, computer science, engineering, product, or technology strategy focus.
• Experience managing managers or senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise AI solution architecture strategy and translate business needs into scalable AI products and platforms.
• Co-create high-impact AI solutions with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Commercial and corporate functions.
• Partner with senior leaders to scope large AI initiatives and decompose opportunities into executable pathways.
• Develop blueprints connecting business objectives, data, AI methods, and governance with ROI measures.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, governed, and production-ready through collaboration with engineering and security teams.
• Build and lead a high-performing AI solution architecture function and establish reusable standards.
