Job summary

Chartis Federal in the United States seeks a Division Director for Engineering Solutions & Services to lead strategy, delivery, and growth of the ESS vertical, including TACCOM and LMR. You will own P&L, shape programs, and partner with DHS and Federal Civilian customers.

This senior leader will mentor Program Managers, oversee PMO processes, drive revenue and margins, and ensure technical integrity while aligning with Chartis Federal’s growth agenda. Travel ~20% annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Federal contracting with engineering-intensive programs.
• Proven P&L ownership for a portfolio >$50M annually.
• Experience leading Program Managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of Federal acquisition, program execution, compliance, and contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel ~20% annually.
• Executive-level communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Results-driven with hands-on technical oversight and portfolio leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for ESS portfolio and drive revenue, margin, and forecasting.
• Provide executive oversight for ESS programs against schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead PMO processes, engineering change control, risk management and reporting.
• Translate customer needs into practical engineering and communications solutions.
• Mentor Program Managers and engineering leads.
