Job summary

Viatris seeks a Senior Director of Engineering and Maintenance in St. Albans, VT to lead and oversee Engineering, Maintenance, Commissioning & Qualification, Automation, and Calibration departments. You will drive capital projects, develop SOPs, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements across the site.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. The role reports to the Head of Operations, requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 10+

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent).
10+ years of relevant experience in engineering and maintenance leadership in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with GMP, regulatory inspections and compliance.

Responsibilities

Direct, supervise, coordinate, monitor and review engineering projects, equipment and facilities maintenance.
Plan and coordinate SOPs, validation, change control, drawings and related documents.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, schedules and cost justification documents.
Lead Production Engineering, Maintenance and Calibration teams; mentor and develop staff.
Collaborate with Operations leadership to identify new technology and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local codes and GMP standards.
