Veeco is seeking a Senior Director, Engineering – Advanced Deposition Systems, to lead a multi-disciplinary organization responsible for the design, development, qualification, and support of advanced wafer processing equipment. This role involves overseeing diverse engineering teams and ensuring product development meets specified targets.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles, especially in semiconductor equipment. Benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), and flexible spending accounts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in capital equipment.
• 7+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Own engineering execution across the full product lifecycle.
• Deliver multiple concurrent development and customer-specific programs.
• Partner with Marketing and Operations on customer requirement reviews.
• Plan and allocate engineering resources aligned with business priorities.
• Establish goals and processes to improve engineering efficiency.
• Build and retain top engineering talent.
