Job summary

Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Director of Operations-Emergency & Specialty in the greater Washington, DC area. This role is key in overseeing operations at large Specialty and ER animal hospitals, holding P&L responsibility and ensuring delivery of patient care.

The ideal candidate will have experience in veterinary medicine, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to mentorship and team development. Benefits include medical insurance, a 401(k) match, and discounts on pet services.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary medicine with leadership in field operations.
• Ability to grow animal hospitals through hiring and client retention.
• Willingness to travel within the Washington, DC/Baltimore area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at large Specialty/ER animal hospitals.
• Hold P&L responsibility for $35m+.
• Deliver patient care and business outcomes.
