Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of healthcare accounting, budgeting, and staffing resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily nursing operations of all emergency departments within the medical center.
• Establishes clear communication with patients, staff, physicians, and EMS to hit targets.
• Fosters relationships with stakeholders and champions patient care and professional nursing practice.
• Participates in strategic planning, capital budgeting, and policy development.
• Leads performance improvement programs using evidence-based metrics.
• Coaches and mentors nurse managers; ensures attendance at required meetings.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains safety, quality, and infection control standards.
