Job summary

Qualcomm Incorporated in San Diego, CA is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Director of EDA & HPC Engineering Platforms to lead the vision, architecture, and global operations of compute, data, and development infrastructure behind silicon and systems engineering.

You will own an end-to-end portfolio including HPC grids, license orchestration, SCM, Linux/Unix and container platforms, observability, data analytics and IP protection.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 12+ without a degree.
• 7+ years of supervisory or Leadership experience.
• Experience interacting with VP-level executives and above.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year strategy and architecture for EDA/HPC platforms.
• Lead global teams of Directors, Managers, Architects and SREs.
• Own license management strategy across major EDA vendors.
• Oversee enterprise SCM platforms and data management.
• Build observability stack and reliability practices.
